Presentation "Let's go green"

We had a presentation about environment. We explained the following parts to our audience:

• Climate Change (natural and human causes)
  
• Environmental pollution and Health
• Saving life on Earth (recycling and composting)

At the end of our presentation we presented two organisations to our class, WWF and Greenpeace.

WWF stands for "World Wild Fund For Nature" and its mission is to stop the degradation of the planet's natural invironment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. They also have a homepage: "wwf.panda.org". WWF tells you here some facts about its mission and there are also some articles about the lastest news around the world.

Greenpeace is motivated by their vision of a green and peaceful world. They are based in Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and also have a homepage: "greenpeace.org". On this page you can see an article about their mission, a climate blog, some news and photos.


We also told them some things, which every person may do. At first you should start to conserve energy in your home and to re-use in you office. I will try to do some things of them, for example I will turn off unneeded lights, use a ceramic mug, use copies made from recycled paper ...


All in all I think it was a very good presentation and we managed to persuad our class to safe life on earth, just by doing little things.
